Today is Powerful Peace Day-minus-1…tomorrow is the release so many have so long awaited. Pre-orders at Amazon, the same incredibly high demand pre-orders that caused our launch date to be accelerated by THREE MONTHS from October 4th to the 4th of July, were already being placed two months ago.
And that Pre-order option, in fact, was only made available by Morgan James Publishing’s David Hancock because of the intense demand so many friends of the message were expressing to him for months before that.
As you’ll read, Powerful Peace was originally a blog by the same name, one I began in 2008 during yet another deployment, and yet another tour through Iraq. And before it was even a blog, Powerful Peace lived in an essay I wrote for a U.S. agency back in 2005, entitled “Becoming Your Enemy”…you can still read that at my Scribd.com page.
Long story short, this story is long in the making.
The future of Powerful Peace, on the other hand, will be much longer than the years of its preparation. Already this mission is being grabbed and carried by national leaders and military commanders, presidential advisors and movie stars, superstar success coaches and Americans, Europeans and Asians.
High school courses are being designed around Powerful Peace by visionary teachers, and the book is being assigned as required reading by Info Tech instructors to prepare students’ minds for complex problem solving. Politicians are recommending it to their fellows to broaden their grasp of how the world of war and peace, internationally and interpersonally, “really works.”
The applications are limitless. Tomorrow’s almost here. Powerful Peace.
