Thanks for commenting! We may have to agree to disagree on the whole Marine thing.
I’m just kidding – no BS: I have a LOT of respect for United States Marines, and many friends from that club. As with every service, there are individuals who pull down the bar for the rest…but this unit is still solidly founded on a deep, personal desire for individual excellence and willingness to sacrifice for one’s comrades.
Why else would their recruiting commercials kick every other service’s butt, and send a chill of recognition through the latent, heroic spirit of every observer?
